One Broker Ltd – the holding company of insurance brokers KTIB, NWBIB, and PJW – has added Gibbs Denley Insurance Services Ltd (GDIS) to its brands.

According to the announcement, there will be no immediate changes to GDIS as it continues to work from its Swavesey and Bury St Edmunds offices. With the GDIS management team committing to maintain high-quality customer service, clients are assured it will be “business as usual” at the newly acquired firm.

GDIS director Paul Gibbs described the development as the next step in the evolution of GDIS’s broking services. The joint announcement said joining One Broker Group will give GDIS greater weight within the market, as well as a firmer negotiating position with insurers.

“The insurance market is constantly developing and it is important to us that we remain ahead of these changes and put ourselves in the strongest position possible to serve both our customers and our staff going forward,” commented Gibbs.

He continued: “We are delighted to be joining a highly respected company that shares our values and vision, and we look forward to working with them.”

One Broker Group chief executive Robin Plaster, for his part, said the deal further reinforces the parent organisation’s commitment to Cambridge. He added that it will provide One Broker Group with an excellent platform to expand its products and services across the region.
