Earlier today we told you about a host of new jobs being created by Hastings Insurance – and now another insurer is offering a serious employment boost.

This time it is the turn of niche insurance and travel provider Staysure, which has announced it will create 50 new jobs at its Coventry contact centre.

The company is on a hot streak having doubled its head count to around 100 since it set up an office in the city in June last year. Now it is recruiting again with the hope of having staff in place by mid-November.

In a report in The Coventry Telegraph, the insurer reveals that the bulk of jobs will be within its sales team. The company notes that it has high retention rates with Lindsey Howsam, Staysure’s operations director, telling the publication that the company offers good career opportunities.

“A significant part of our success story is our people,” she said.

“We enjoy strong staff retention and we always look to promote from within the business.

“While sales experience is extremely useful, more importantly, we’d like to meet people who are eager to learn and are excited to work in a fast paced environment with determination to meet and exceed targets.”

Staysure was launched in 2005 and offers specialist insurance products for the over 50s including travel insurance for those with pre-existing conditions.
