There is a new underwriting manager at specialist legal expenses insurer Temple Legal Protection in the form of Chris Morter (pictured), who joins from a rival firm.
 
In his new role, Morter will be based at Temple’s office in central Bristol. He comes from DAS Legal Expenses, where he held a number of roles including underwriting team leader and senior underwriter.
 
“I look forward to helping Temple to continue developing market leading products,” Morter said. “The legal expenses industry needs to drive product innovation in order to meet the increasingly varied demands of customers.”

Morter currently serves as vice president of the Insurance Institute of Bristol. He is also the Chartered Insurance Institute regional representative for the South West & Wales.
 
“We are delighted to welcome Chris to the growing team in Bristol,” said Chris Wait, Temple’s managing director.
 
“Chris’s appointment is testament to our commitment to introducing and supporting market leading products with skilled and experienced personnel,” Wait added.
