Thirty six brokers should be celebrating picking up a CII diploma in around 18 months, having been chosen to take part in a scholarship programme.

Allianz Insurance had more than 170 applications for the programme, which kicks off in January and helps commercial and personal lines brokers achieve their diploma over a year and a half. Among those joining the new intake will be Nick Eadie of Willis Towers Watson who is looking forward to the challenges ahead.

“The Allianz Scholarship is a tremendous opportunity and I am extremely humbled to have been selected to participate,” he said. “The next 18 months look set to be challenging but rewarding and I’m looking forward to getting started!”

Broker scholars can also access an exclusive Alumni membership group which offers graduating scholars ongoing support towards their continuing professional development.

“Allianz is at the forefront of professional development and I’m very proud that we continue to invest in the future talent of the broking community,” Simon McGinn, general manager, commercial & personal at Allianz Insurance, commented. “We have evolved the Scholarship programme to ensure we continue to offer commercial and personal brokers the best development opportunities. I’d like to wish our latest intake of talented, ambitious brokers all the best as they work towards their CII Diploma.”
