Amid the persistent call for insurers to innovate, it looks like the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) itself is having its own reinvention of sorts.

Fresh off its relocation announcement, the CII has launched a new means to engage its members. Called CII Radio, the industry body’s podcast service features interviews and discussions with CII experts, members, and outside resource persons who will share insights relevant to the insurance profession.

“We want to communicate with our members in ways that suit them, and CII Radio is one of the new channels we are using to do this,” said CII communications director Michelle Worvell. “The podcasts are easy to download and access, so our members can listen on the go or at a time that’s convenient for them. We are really pleased with this first season and are already working on a second season.”

Topics covered by CII Radio’s first season include the gender pay gap, Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Insurance Distribution Directive, and inclusive recruitment.

The podcasts are available on iTunes and via Stitcher.
