The financial services brand operated by the UK Post Office aims to grow its life insurance business under a newly formed partnership with top mutual insurer Royal London.
 
Post Office Money has appointed Royal London as a new life insurance partner to improve its existing range of products, develop new ones and simplify application processes for customers.
 
According to the financial services provider, the partnership with Royal London will help accelerate business growth by expanding access to new products across all channels, including additional digital ones.
 
Post Office Money said a new product range will be launched throughout the year.
 
“We are developing products that offer our customers more choice in how they are protected,” said Post Office Money Insurance managing director Rob Clarkson.

He said new and improved products will be accessible in selected Post Office branches through its UK-based call centre and online.
 
“Through working with Royal London, we have been able to simplify the application process, making it even easier for customers to find the right policy to meet their needs,” Clarkson added.
 
Royal London consumer division CEO Jerry Toher said the company will develop “products that offer better value for money and fairer outcomes for consumers.”
 
Post Office Money provides a number of branded insurance products including car, home, travel and pet insurance. Over the past 18 months, it has been investing in all aspects of its insurance business including developing its own customer support centre.
