Miller Insurance Services has teamed up with charity organisation Sported to support its 3,000 members across the UK, which include community sport clubs and youth groups.

The broker will provide bespoke insurance policies to interested Sported members, along with advice and recommendations from its specialist sport insurance experts.

Miller said the partnership was set up while keeping in mind the special needs of Sported members in order to make exploring coverage options easier and hassle-free.

“We recognise the vital role that sport can play in the lives of disadvantaged young people and are excited to be a part of the inspirational work carried out by Sported,” said David Griffiths, sport and entertainment broker at Miller.

Griffiths said the broker’s experience and specialist knowledge will enable Sported members to make the right decisions regarding insurance cover.

“Sported’s members are predominantly small community sport and youth groups, and we know it can be tricky for them to find the right insurance cover when they have such complex requirements,” said Kathryn Berry, head of member services at Sported.

Berry believes Miller will be able to advise Sported members on insurance policies tailored for their specific needs.
