Olaf Fölsch is the new CEO of Ed Broking Group’s insurance agency Junge & Co. Ulfert Paulsen, who was with Junge & Co for over 28 years, has retired from the position.

Fölsch previously served as managing director of Junge & Co and has almost 20 years of insurance experience. He joined the insurance agency in 2015, following his time at Aon where he served as head of specialty marine.

Prior to his employment at Aon, Fölsch was with TUI Insurance Services as general manager and head of marine & aviation. He studied maritime industrial engineering and management and served as a sea-going officer on a number of vessels.

Fölsch said Ulfert’s contribution has been tremendous and that he looks forward to carrying on the legacy of the former Junge & Co CEO.

“The marine market is changing rapidly and we must evolve our proposition to ensure we continue to reflect clients’ requirements,” he commented.

Meanwhile, Junge & Co is said to be “ideally placed” to challenge the status quo and increase presence in its target markets.
