Expanding broker PIB Group is getting a new trading platform for its personal lines business on the back of a new partnership with insurance software provider Ignite Insurance Systems.

Ignite will provide PIB with a consistent digital platform encompassing over 150,000 personal lines policyholders. It will also supply the broker with future-proofed technology solutions to support its growth objectives.

A web-based system will be used by PIB to replace a number of its existing broking trading platforms. Operating on a single shared code base platform, the company will be able to launch new products, reach new distribution channels and adapt pricing quickly and efficiently.

The new platform gives PIB that “competitive advantage” that it needs, says the insurance firm’s COO, Tim Philip.

“Our organic and selective acquisition growth strategy focuses on delivering enhanced services to our expanding client base,” Philip says. “To support this, we needed a partner who could provide a scalable and responsive trading platform for high volume personal lines business.”
