Specialty insurance brokerage Alliant Insurance recently announced the appointment of Griff Moody to the post of senior vice president in its construction services group.

A Business Wire report said that Moody will provide advisory services to construction clients across the country in his new capacity. He will be based in Georgia.
 
“Griff has an extensive network of industry contacts and strong relationships with all of the major bonding and insurance companies,” noted Peter Arkley, Alliant senior managing director. “He is a tremendous addition to our rapidly growing construction practice.”

The new executive has more than three decades of risk management experience in the construction industry. His expertise spans underwriting, management and brokering of large and complex surety and insurance programs.

Before he joined Alliant, Moody was managing director at a global brokerage and was responsible for surety, contractor default insurance, as well as programs for property and casualty lines. He pursued undergraduate studies from the University of Georgia.
