Chubb has appointed a regional leader to serve as the executive vice-president of the company’s North America major accounts division.
John Alfieri, who was most recently Chubb’s regional executive officer for the New York region, was selected to fill the role. As executive vice-president of the North America major accounts division, Alfieri will oversee the business’s field operations, as well as develop and implement strategies to deliver Chubb’s suite of risk management solutions.

Alfieri will also administer Chubb’s network of client executives and the large account distribution management team working closely with the broader North America Field Operations team, a release said.
He will report to Chubb North America major accounts division chief operating officer Matthew Merna, and will continue to be based in New York.

Following Alfieri’s appointment, the leadership of Chubb’s New York region has been adjusted accordingly.
Peter Tucker – previously Chubb’s regional chief operating officer for the New York region – will serve as the region’s new regional executive officer, replacing Alfieri.
Chubb Long Island branch manager Amy Feller moves up to replace Tucker as the New York region regional chief operating officer.
Kevin Guinan, Chubb commercial lines executive vice-president and Eastern Underwriting Center manager, has been tapped to serve as the company’s new Long Island branch manager.
