Dana Larson Bowen, a 51 year old recognized insurance agent in Blackshear, Georgia, has been arrested on drug charges according to police reports.

Bowen is facing a felony charge for possession of cocaine and a misdemeanour charge for possession of marijuana, after she was arrested when a Blackshear police officer discovered a break-in at her office.

Blackshear police called the Georgia Insurance Commission’s Fraud Division, which obtained a search warrant for Bowen’s office and home. Police stated that bags of cocaine and marijuana were found at her home, as reported in an article by News4Jax.

Bowen was booked into the Pierce County Jail, but has since been released on a $6,000 bond, as the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office reported on its website.

Bowen is from the Management South Agency, Inc., which was found in 1987 in Blackshear Georgia.
