Pioneer Underwriters has set its sights on further success in its E&O division by introducing two high profile new recruits.

The firm today confirmed the immediate appointments of Milan Devetak (pictured) in the role of senior underwriter and Andrew Nolan, underwriter in the miscellaneous E&O, technology and cyber division of its US underwriting platform, Pioneer Special Risk.

Devetak boasts close to two decades of experience in the industry having previously worked at XL Catlin as senior underwriter for management liability. He started his career meanwhile, at ACE USA as products and premises liability claims adjuster.

Meanwhile, Nolan has a decade of underwriting experience – he was most recently with United States Liability Insurance Group as professional lines underwriter.

“I’m thrilled to welcome both Milan and Andrew to Pioneer and look forward to working with them as we expand our Miscellaneous E&O division,” said David Lucey, vice president of miscellaneous E&O for Pioneer Special Risk.

“We see enormous opportunity in this niche segment of the market where we will continue to deliver technical underwriting expertise to our broker partners on behalf of their clients.”
