Iron Ridge Insurance Services has acquired the property and casualty insurance business of Zehner & Associates, according to a report by the Business Observer.

The acquisition of Zehner & Associates will bring Iron Ridge about 500 new clients, the report said.

“We are always looking for opportunities that are mutually beneficial, and this was a perfect fit,” Iron Ridge vice president Norman Lutz said in a statement. “We will be able to enhance the services and options to our new clients, achieve our goals for consistent growth and profitability and continue to add new employees and technology to Iron Ridge.”

Florida-based Iron Ridge is an independent agency that provides personal and commercial insurance programs. Its personal insurance division provides home, auto, liability and life insurance, and the commercial division has a focus on health care and life sciences, architects and engineers, contractors, and religious institutions.
