Major broker Lockton Companies has announced the appointment of Alex Petrovich as vice president of its Omaha office. Lockton is a privately held insurance brokerage.

Petrovich, who studied finance as a college undergraduate, has honed his expertise from a decade of experience in commercial insurance, risk management, and employee benefits across diverse industries.

The new executive comes to Lockton from Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. where he served two years as a sales executive. He also worked with Mutual of Omaha and at a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary for eight years.

“Alex is the kind of guy you want on your team. He’s got the experience, expertise, and initiative to help drive results and strengthen our clients’ businesses,” said Jack Struyk, president of Lockton’s Omaha office in the report. “We are extremely happy to have him join our team.”
