The building is hopefully insured.

State Farm had to deal with a broken window over the weekend after an SUV accidentally rammed through its Miramar office in San Diego, California.

A young man who had his family on board an SUV lost control of the car after he accidentally slammed on the accelerator instead of the brake and went straight through a glass window of the State Farm Insurance office along Black Mountain Road.

Local news franchise NBC San Diego reported the vehicle was in a “half in half out situation” as emergency crew waded through debris and glass shards.  No-one was reported injured, although one employee was brought to the emergency room of a local hospital after showing signs of anxiety.

Some of the emergency crew stayed behind to clear up the debris. They were able to safely remove the vehicle from the building.

State Farm also had to halt operations following the accident. An afternoon call was met with a recorded response saying the office was closed, the report added.

Authorities did not release any further details about the incident.
