Dominic Volini and Geno Mattioda partnered to purchase an established brokerage in 2014. Since then, they’ve maintained an average 30% annual growth rate, a 65% premium growth rate and a 90% retention rate. Volini and Mattioda also launched a business and educational partnership with tech incubator 1871 and are developing a scholarship program for insurance and financial management majors. Together with 1871, Wolf Point Advisors recently launched a healthcare and employee benefits exchange. “I like to think of our firm as being at the forefront of ushering in the next generation of insurance professionals,” Volini says. “We strive to think outside the box from the traditional brokerage model of insurance in every way possible.”
