Randall Goss founded US Risk Insurance Group in 1986 with a single office and a single product line. Today, the company has 16 offices across the globe, and is one of the largest excess and surplus lines providers in the nation. In January, the company acquired Texas-based MGA American Underwriting Managers, and last year acquired an ownership interest in Strategic Program Managers. Prior to founding US Risk, Goss worked as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Young. He’s also the co-author of the book Accounting and Auditing of Financial Institutions.
