CCR Re, an international reinsurance company based in France, has announced several changes to its global team, including a senior executive for Asia.

Jérôme Isenbart has been promoted to chief risk & actuarial officer of CCR Re. He will hold the position alongside his current responsibilities as chief risk officer for the CCR Group.

John Conan, the reinsurer’s vice president for Asia, has been promoted to senior vice president, head of underwriting treaties, Asia. He succeeds René Rochette who will be retiring at the end of the year.

John Lenormand has joined CCR Re as underwriter for marine, energy, terror & political violence, bringing over 10 years of underwriting experience.

Hande Yildiz Fuchs was named vice president of the reinsurer’s Southern Europe property & casualty department. Prior to joining CCR Re, she was P&C vice president for MS Amlin, and began her career in 2006 as property & casualty underwriter for Eureko Sigorta in Turkey. She holds a master’s degree in statistics and an undergraduate’s degree in actuarial studies from the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul.

Yang Du has joined the company as underwriter and agro specialist from Arch Reinsurance Europe, where she has held similar roles since 2013. She is an actuary with a degree from the French Institute of Financial and Insurance Sciences of Lyon.

Commenting on the appointments, Bertrand Labilloy, chairman and chief executive of CCR Re, said: “In the framework of CCR Re’s furthered development, we have consolidated our management base and strengthened our teams with new technical and international talents.”
