    I think all Australians will like this type of product. Its encompasses profit sharing and rebates if no claims are made.

    I recall Real Insurance offered rebates after 3 years with no claims - since stopped this. Possibly others have offered similar/same in the past.

    If the Insurance policies can be tweaked to operate similar to a Mutual Aid Scheme (ie members joining for a common cause which is to assist members during a time of calamity) together with rebates this constitutes the 'Takaful' or Shariah product.
