Two marine insurance brokers have resolved litigation commenced by OAMPS against them.

    Great.... $350k goes west for all of the clients to move on 1/1/14 anyway. I am not suggesting that restraint clauses are invalid or redundant - but if a client prefers to deal with the individual - they will ultimately move the business.... no matter how long that might take.

    I agree Andrew and I sincerely hope this case is appealed.

    In my opinion, retrenchment is very different to someone just up and leaving and attempting to poach/steal clients.
