The American Idol runner-up who has joined 70s rock legends Queen on tour has a hefty insurance bill in place to protect what is turning into a hugely successful tour.

Adam insured his voice long before his tour with Queen because he's had a very successful career as a solo artist and will continue as a solo artist, post-Queen. He also performed with Queen in the UK and Eastern Europe in 2012. BTW, most of his huge fan base is not from his American Idol participation. He has released several very successful CDs and made a stunningly successful worldwide tour (113 venues, mostly sold out) in 2010. He has also appreared on numerous TV shows, including Glee and Pretty Little Liars. So he is known mostly for musical activities other than American Idol.

Interesting that all those "singers" insured body parts other than their voices. Kinda says it all about what's important to them, eh? $300 mil for JLo's butt? Really?
