A Victorian fraudster, who swindled more than $1m by submitting false claims, used some of the money to prop up his café business in Collingwood.

    Ripped off $1+ million... and the finding? Permanent banning because he was "not of good fame(sic) or character". oooh, scary!

    ...another slap on the wrist from regulators.

    What have the police done about it? The guy should be frogmarched to the slammer - no messing about. Was he? The crime was a fair while ago. What was his sentence in the criminal court? Why doesn't the media report on that as well as reporting the wrist slap?
