Small businesses are being pushed to the brink, according to one MD

We have certainly noticed a big increase in the unreasonable delays from many Mainstream Insurers. Here we are in August and none of our Cyclone Debbie claims have been settled. These are businesses that need to be back up and running as soon as possible. Of particular concern is the delay in paying Business Interruption claims, at a time our clients need cash flow now. The reasons for delay are fairly petty and unfair, and just taint the reputation of the whole Insurance Industry. Catastrophes are going to be routine now but the industry does not know how to adjust, simply taking their time.
