    So, mandatory Landlords Insurance......what next, mandatory House and/or Contents Insurance, Comprehensive or at least Third Party Property Damage insurance for motor vehicles???/ Where does it end.

    Having now been in the industry, at various levels, for over 36 years, I find this article as a "self interest article", the last paragraph:

    "He added that for anyone dependent on that rent to service a debt or for income, “it’s very important to have a guarantee of that flow of revenue”."

    The only interest here to having Landlords insurance mandatory is to protect the revenue of the Property Manager/real Estate Agent.....sorry, I don't buy it!
