Supermarkets are tracking their consumers’ shopping habits and selling them additional products and services including insurance based on the information they receive.

    This main issue as I see it is whether this 'sharing' is actually 'selling'. If Coles makes money from selling personal customer information, then I am against it. But if it is a genuine knowledge-sharing exercise across the various silo's of the business, then it's ok.
