Insurer with large presence in Tasmania is the latest to become one of the Insurance Council of Australia’s members in the wake of the controversial Tasmanian Budget and its anti-insurance implications.

We feel Tasmania's pain on the issue of statutory charges but what about the Voctorian government increasing FSL in rural areas to a massive 95%?. This means that for every $1,000 paid in premium by rural victorian commercial policy holders, they pay a whopping $1,340 in various government charges. The Victorian government have comitted to scrapping FSL in 2013 but they are gouging in a major way in the interim. What about that one ICA?
