Insurer AIG has appointed a 17-year insurance veteran to a new a role within its Queensland business.

Lorelle Hillman has been appointed general manager for AIG in Queensland. She replaces Adam Stewart, who recently left the organisation to pursue other opportunities.

Hillman joined AIG in July 2007 as client and broker manager, and was appointed as client relationship manager and national public sector practice leader in April 2014. Prior to AIG, Hillman worked at Lumley Insurance and Aon Risk Services.

Hillman also serves as president for AIG Australia’s Women & Allies Employee Resource Group.
