A strata insurance specialist has announced a major national claims role appointment.

CHU appointed Annette Lees as national liability claims manager to take responsibility for the delivery of a “concierge” claims service on every liability claim, in accordance with company standards.

Her responsibilities include taking a proactive approach in the management of all technical claims, optimising the average age of a claim and managing all claims within agreed timeframes, understanding legislative requirements in each state, liaising with and instruct panel lawyers, and providing liability-related advice to general claims community.

Lees brings nearly three decades of insurance experience to her new role, having worked at a number of insurance companies, including Commercial Union, FAI, and GIO. She joined CHU in July 2003 as national liability claims consultant and was then promoted to national senior liability claims consultant.
