A former Allianz Partners chief sales officer has joined Gallagher Bassett’s executive team.

Brad Smith has been appointed chief operating officer. In that role, he will take charge of leading and managing all operational business units within GB Australia, in both personal injury and specialty markets.

Prior to joining Gallagher Bassett, Smith worked for more than nine years at Allianz Partners, where he was most recently responsible for leading a national workforce covering sales-and-account management across the travel, health, automotive, and property portfolios.

Smith’s “experience will help to ensure that the introduction of the role makes a significant impact on the quality and the level of service that we provide to our clients," said John McNamara, GB Australia CEO.
