An independent Australian law firm has strengthened its existing insurance practice with the addition of a new partner.

Stephen White joined McCullough Robertson as a partner in its insurance and corporate risk team, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in dealing with insurance claims and policy-interpretation disputes.

White’s “breadth of knowledge of the insurance industry is invaluable,” said Kristen Podagiel, managing partner at McCullough Robertson. “He will work closely with existing insurance partner Brad Russell to provide support in the front end of the practice and continue to grow our corporate-insurance client base.”

White was most recently a partner in Carter Newell’s insurance group. For two consecutive years, he has been recognised as a leading insurance lawyer in The Best Lawyers in Australia and named as a leading Queensland public and product liability lawyer (defendant) in Doyle's Guide.
