A global financial investigations company specialising in insurance, legal, and corporate markets has announced a new partner in its Sydney office.

Ashley McPhee has been promoted as new partner at RGL Forensics, effective July 1.

A chartered accountant, certified fraud examiner, and an ANZIIF fellow, McPhee has over 10 years' experience specialising in forensic accounting and in the measurement of economic damages in insurance losses, particularly on cases involving business interruption, fraud and fidelity, and liability across a range of industries.

He joined RGL in 2012 and has since then provided litigation support for legal cases of varying sizes and complexity, and has successfully managed high profile assignments for major corporations in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

With McPhee's appointment, RGL now has two partners in its Sydney office and 34 worldwide.

RGL CEO Angela MacPhee congratulated McPhee on his promotion, saying: “The addition of Ashley as a new partner strengthens our senior team, which serves our clients around the globe, and also demonstrates our commitment to the local market.”
