An Allianz-owned recreational boat insurer has officially unveiled its new member rewards program at this year's Sydney International Boat Show.

Club Marine Member Rewards has been a long time in development, with our hardworking brand and marketing team putting a lot of effort into the program to ensure members have a broad range of products and services – and associated discounts and special offers – to choose from to enhance their boating lifestyles,” said Simon McLean, Club Marine CEO.

McLean said the size and scope of the program is a first for a marine insurer in Australia, with initial program partners including Compleat Angler, Henri Lloyd, Hamilton Island, Musto, Big4, Australian Marine Wholesale, Barz Optics, Zhik, Jetpilot, and Boat Shoes Online.

The insurer is also set on growing its partner program with more exclusive discounts and value-adds.

Members who take out Club Marine insurance will automatically be enrolled in the rewards program, and will receive the full value of the program immediately, with no points to collect or tiers to climb.

“Our Member Rewards Program is part of our broader aim to extend the benefits our members enjoy when they sign up with Club Marine,” McLean said.

The program launch coincides with a recent announcement that Club Marine has made it to the Australian Financial Review’s annual list of Most Innovative Companies for 2018.

“On behalf of everyone at Club Marine, I’m proud that we’ve been recognised for the many new initiatives we’ve implemented as we strive to improve our membership experience,” McLean said.
