The German giant Allianz continues to be one of the most rec-ognisable brands in the community, owing sig-niﬁ cantly to its successful long-time ‘Ahhh-Allianz’ advertising campaign, of which few Australians would remain unaware. Niran Peiris has now been in the top job for three years, and it seems to be a case of continued smooth sailing. Last March, Allianz Australia announced a record $4.058bn in GWP, which represented more than ﬁ ve years of continuous and sustainable growth for the organisation. On the employment front, alongside Suncorp, Allianz Australia continues to lead the way in the promotion of gender diversity in the work-place. For both of the past two years, it’s received an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, recognising the signiﬁ cant progress it’s made on this front.
