Megan Sheehan has seen her responsibilities at Lawsons Underwriting Australia grow rapidly since launching its Hobart office in 2008, to the point where she is now seen as the ‘go to’ person in the company for a range of underwriting and management matters. With a broad and varied remit that includes underwriting, as well as taking a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the company, Sheehan has overseen a period of growth in the Hobart offi ce, which has now become the largest in the company. Sheehan is increasingly involved in the management and direction of the business, while taking time to be a role model for younger staff.
