With a role that encompasses board and stakeholder liaison, corporate governance, legal counsel, strategic planning, major projects, and risk management, Linda Ellis plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of Australia’s largest general insurer broker network. In 2020, Ellis will be a key figure for not just Steadfast but the entire industry as organisations and individuals navigate a post-royal commission environment in which compliance, governance and community standards are at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
“I love working in insurance because every day we are helping people live their lives and run their businesses,” Ellis told IB last year. “Our economy would grind to a halt without insurance, and it’s good to be part of something worthwhile which makes a substantial contribution to the economy.”
