In May 2019, Monica Holland joined Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance as an underwriting manager and was also named head of the firm’s new Adelaide office. Holland has more than 25 years of experience across multiple facets of the insurance industry, including broking, claims, underwriting, sales, distribution and business development.
“Monica has extensive experience in the South Australia insurance industry, and we are pleased to have her representing BHSI,” Mark Lingafelter, president of Australasia at BHSI, said at the time of Holland’s appointment. “Monica’s local expertise will allow us to partner more effectively with our brokers and customers in South Australia.”
