Since May 2019, Rita Yates has been at the helm of Insurtech Australia, an organisation that will only become more important in the future. While insurtech remains largely male-dominated, Yates hopes to use her position to change that.
“I’d love to see more female founders,” she told IB last year. “We have some great ones already, but it would be good to have more women working in the industry, and personally, I’m very interested in providing my support to up-and-coming female founders.”
