Claims manager for executive and professional lines
Joseph Hershewe is a young industry professional with a strong technical claims background, great leadership, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to use his passion to re-enforce the real benefit insurance plays to the community and economy.
In his current role, Hershewe manages a diverse portfolio of financial institutions, professional indemnity, cyber, and directors and officers claims; provides proactive claims service to BHSI’s customers and brokers; and works with the broader BHSI team to build its suite of products and claims operations.
One of his key achievements was his role in establishing BHSI’s claim offering in the executive and professional lines space, where he not only attracted new customers to BHSI, but also successfully managed a portfolio of severity rated losses whilst achieving customer-focused outcomes.
