Portfolio manager for accident and health
Melanie Raumer is an ambitious accident and health professional with the natural ability to inspire, challenge, and encourage her team to reach their potential and achieve positive outcomes for clients.
As portfolio manager for A&H, Raumer is managing a team of A&H underwriters and partnering with key brokers to execute strategic plans of the business. She joined QBE’s Graduate Program in 2014, and has since then won a role promotion almost every year, thanks to her ability to manage complex claims and dedication to provide excellent customer service.
Raumer is a high performer who is always looking for opportunities to meet a new broker, contribute to a project or help out a colleague, and reinforce and promote the importance and benefits of the industry. She has participated in operational efficiency projects within QBE. She was also co-chair of the local Young Professionals during 2018 – 2019, where she mentored two of the 2018 QBE grad intake group, with both being offered full-time roles in the organisation.
