Vancouver, B.C. – On the heels of receiving accolades as a 5-Star MGA from their brokers, Cansure was awarded of the Armour Insurance MGA of the Year award at the Insurance Business Canada awards gala last week at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, ON. To be considered for this prestigious accolade, an MGA must receive nominations to be considered for the first qualifying round. Following round one, finalists are determined based on those nominations, and a panel of pre-selected judges representing various areas in the industry review each finalist submission and assesses them on 6 specific criteria. This criteria serves to indicate how the finalist has achieved excellence over the past 18 months through underwriting responsiveness and turnaround time, premium pricing, range of products, customer service, claims support, and technical expertise and product knowledge.
Having been nominated for this award for the past four years, Cameron Copeland, president of Cansure comments that it “shows our consistency and it shows our performance over time – we have truly earned this award.” He further comments on the impact that winning the award has on the organization – “hearing our name in such positive and respected terms makes me very proud of what we have all created over the past many years that it has taken to build Cansure. I was equally proud to receive this award on [our team’s] behalf, in front of the leaders of our industry.”
