Can-Sure Underwriting and Beacon Underwriting announce the launch of their new website and combined brand strategy today. The new website at www.cansure.com and general communications are being aligned behind the Cansure brand. To complement this, all Beacon and Cansure staff email addresses will reflect the unified branding following the format of first-initial and last-name @cansure.com.
“Brokers across Canada know us well under the Can-Sure and Beacon names, but it’s time to align our communications behind a single brand that represents our product breadth and harmonized underwriting, claims, and distribution operations”, says company president Cameron Copeland.
While the website and email addresses are being harmonized now, the company will continue to use the current trade names on formal documents until policy issuance systems can be converted over the next few months. This includes the use of the Beacon name, which will continue to be used for the company’s motorcycle, off road vehicle, pleasure craft and select other products. Brokers are asked to continue paying their Beacon statement separately from their Cansure statement during the conversion period.
