It’s good to be an RV owner in British Columbia, after RVezy.com announced it now offers full insurance coverage to both travel trailer and motorhome owners in the province.

The peer to peer RV rental marketplace, which launched in 2016, describes itself as having “revolutionized” travel throughout the country with over 50,000 rentals. Now it hopes to bring further reassurance to owners within the British Columbia region thanks to the backing of full insurance coverage that applies across the US and Canada.

“British Columbia is one of Canada's most sought after destinations,” said RVezy’s co-founder Michael McNaught. “The beauty of the terrain and accessible countryside make it a world-class destination for millions of travellers.

“For the past four summers, thousands of Canadians have taken part in the RV sharing economy earning millions of dollars of extra income. That additional income helps RV owners by offsetting the costs of owning their RV; it is a true win-win.”

Ultimately, McNaught hopes that RV travel could boost the province by as much as $10 million in 2020.
