APOLLO Insurance Solutions has formed a new partnership with Zonetail, a mobile app for hotels and condominiums that allows them to interact with guests and residents.

Zonetail Home and its sister platform Shiftsuite connect residents to the amenities and services of their building. They can also access the building’s community news, activity feeds, community calendars, document libraries, and book building amenities and/or parking. Residents can also create and track maintenance requests, view their ledger and status certificates (for condominiums), and access links to pay their rents or monthly maintenance dues.

The partnership with APOLLO will allow residents using the Zonetail and Shiftsuite apps to access the APOLLO Exchange to purchase rental insurance policies. The digital process means users can get an insurance quote in as little as 90 seconds.

A release said that Zonetail is expected to receive a transaction fee for every insurance policy sold.

"Everybody needs insurance. Partnering with APOLLO provides our users with a simple and fast method to get a quote and purchase a policy all with a couple of taps on their phone. How much easier can it be?" said Zonetail president and CEO Mark Holmes. "And best of all, partnering with APOLLO, gives our users access to the largest selection of online insurance products in the country."

"We are very excited to partner with Zonetail to streamline the resident experience across Canada," said APOLLO Insurance VP of partnerships Josh Pillsbury. "Getting insurance is traditionally a painful process and APOLLO makes it simple for residents to get covered through the Zonetail app in minutes directly from their mobile device."

Last November, APOLLO partnered with mortgage rate comparison website RateGalaxy. RateGalaxy is a website aimed at making the home buying process easier for residents of Alberta and BC; the partnership enables RateGalaxy to offer digital insurance to its customers through the APOLLO Exchange.
