Peel Mutual to leverage texting technology to improve customers

Peel Mutual has launched a new customer communication platform, thanks to a partnership with software provider Hi Marley.

The insurer is leveraging Hi Marley’s platform to assist Peel Mutual’s auto, home and business claims teams. The platform connects carriers and customers via two-way texting, allowing both sides to communicate, as well as exchange pictures and documents, while an insurance-specific AI enables the conversation.

Hi Marley’s platform has flexible APIs and requires zero integration to an existing system to start, a release noted.

Hi Marley COO Mitesh Suchak noted that the firm is excited to support Peel Mutual, as the latter becomes the first insurance carrier in Canada to utilize the conversation platform.
