Hub International enhances group benefits offering with acquisition of Rogersworks

Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Rogersworks Inc.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Vancouver, BC, Rogersworks is an independent benefits brokerage firm that specializes in employee group benefits and association group benefits.

According to a company release, Rogersworks benefits consultant and partner John Ash will join Hub Coastal following closure of the acquisition.

The acquisition of Rogersworks comes after Hub recently made two other acquisitions.

Earlier this month, Hub closed its acquisition of National Home Warranty Group – a wholly owned subsidiary of Aviva Canada. National Home Warranty is one of Western Canada’s leading home warranty providers. With offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, as well as in Vancouver and Langley, BC, National Home Warranty partners with over 3,500 registered builders and offers new home warranty coverage to 15,000 homes and homeowners every year.

Also earlier this month, Hub acquired H.W. Hollinger (Canada) in Montreal, Quebec. H.W. Hollinger is an independent insurance agency that offers commercial and personal insurance. The agency specializes in commercial and industrial insurance, particularly for the construction and real estate industries.
