Hub International continues to build its employee benefits and retirement solutions through acquisitions, by acquiring 838517 Alberta, o/a HB Consultants.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, HB Consultants is an independent employee benefits consulting firm specializing in group insurance programs, benefits communications, wellness solutions and risk management services.
As part of the transaction, HB Consultants president Darrin Heise and HB Consultants employee benefits advisor Elizabeth Harris will join Hub International Insurance Brokers, a division of Hub International Canada West ULC.
Just days ago, Hub announced that it had acquired JM Rose Insurance Agency Limited, dba usefulideas. Based in Toronto, Ontario, usefulideas is a full-service business consultancy, employee benefits, and group retirement firm.
