Rise People, an HR solutions provider start-up based in Vancouver, has launched a new engagement platform for Sun Life’s group life and health benefits advisors.

The platform allows advisors to offer digital group benefits enrolment, access an online insurance marketplace, utilize ongoing benefits administration, and tap into an advisor management solution that stores client data as well as generating reports. It is currently available to Sun Life’s group benefits advisors at no cost, but Rise People has plans to include other insurance carriers in the months to come.

“Technology is playing an increasing role in the advisor-client relationship as more clients have come to expect a highly personalized and efficient experience from their advisors,” said Rise People president Julie Bevacqua. “We recognize the importance of technology and are committed to providing clients and advisors the best possible experience with a cutting-edge digital platform.”

“This platform is a gateway to provide our advisors with a seamless digital experience to manage their clients and their benefits plans,” said Sun Life vice-president of business development and group benefits Sophie Ouellet. “We continue to look for innovative ways to digitize and modernize benefits in Canada. This new tool will ultimately help advisors provide clients with access to the benefits they need.”
