Hub International has acquired LSM Insurance Services, an online provider of life and health insurance solutions based in Markham, ON.
A release said that the LSM team has a combined 100 years of experience in the life insurance industry. The firm specializes in the hard-to-insure market, and helps clients with health issues find affordable life insurance.
Following the transaction, LSM owner and director Lorne Marr will join Hub Financial, a subsidiary of Hub.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us,” said Marr. “We look forward to helping Hub Financial build the most robust lead generation program in the industry.”
Earlier this week, Hub acquired the benefits consulting practice of Morneau Shepell in Toronto, ON. The practice offers bespoke benefits solutions to both SMEs and large organizations.
