Hub International has closed its acquisition of the assets of National Home Warranty Group – a wholly owned subsidiary of Aviva Canada.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

National Home Warranty is one of Western Canada’s leading home warranty providers. With offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, as well as in Vancouver and Langley, BC, National Home Warranty partners with over 3,500 registered builders and offers new home warranty coverage to 15,000 homes and homeowners every year.

Hub first announced its purchase agreement in August. As part of the deal, the National Home Warranty team will join Hub Canada West and continue to service and support their clients under their current brand.

In a previous statement, Hub International Canada West president David Moon said that the acquisition of National Home Warranty “rounds out Hub’s capabilities in Western Canada to offer a more complete and comprehensive solution to make builders stronger and help homeowners better protect their assets.”

“Their builders and clients will have access to an additional layer of risk management, specialties, resources and services with Hub,” the president added.
